Before: Outdated Kitchen
With dated cabinetry, wallpaper and appliances, this kitchen is in desperate need of an update.
After: Timeless Tradition
Classic paneled doors are used on the deep brown cabinetry, which is given a rustic, distressed look. Neutral subway tile creates a Tuscan-influenced backsplash, and iron chandeliers dripping with crystals add glamour to the space.
The elegant range hood is made from the same wood used on the kitchen cabinetry to create continuity throughout the space. Vertical drawers featuring faux turned legs add hidden storage beside the pro-quality range.
For convenience, a pot filler faucet is installed above the range. The stainless steel finish reflects the upgraded kitchen appliances.
The island features traditional beadboard and turned legs, creating a furniture-like look. The darker wood allows for separation but still coordinates with the rest of the kitchen.
A shiny stainless steel faucet adds a curvy, feminine element to the rustic kitchen.
A small stainless steel sink in the island adds an extra spot for preparing food in the traditional kitchen, and neutral stone countertops in shades of tans and browns create a rustic quality.
