Cozy, Covered Sitting Area

Upstairs, a covered sitting area both provides relief from the sun and enjoys views of the fireplace. Planters decorate the wall to help the space feel even more cozy.

Private Patio Outside of Denver

Sitting outside becomes even more enjoyable thanks to a stone fireplace, cushioned chairs and an outdoor kitchen. A pergola encloses the patio and so creates a sense of privacy, while a rustic rock wall complements the home's mountain surroundings.

Landscape Lights Showcase Points of Interest

Wanting the light to be subtle yet functional, the C&H Landscaping team used LEDs to showcase specific focal points, like the water fountain. Better still, the owners can change the colors of the lights at will.

Swing Chair Makes Fun Addition to Outdoor Space

On the other side of the patio, a hanging chair gives the owners' daughter room to swing. Because it's set among such sophisticated elements, the piece easily adds a dose of playfulness.

Fireplace Flanked By Wood Pergolas

The fireplace is the centerpiece of the patio, inviting everyone to gather around after dinner. As the sun goes down, the feature becomes all the more cozy.

Planters Showcase Bright Flowers

To brighten the patio's gray and taupe stone, the C&H Landscaping team brought in annuals with orange and pink foliage. The flowers soften the brick as well.

Stylish, Family-Friendly Dining Area

With four cushioned benches and stools, this stylish dining space make room for everyone at the table. A pergola overhead offers a touch of shade as well.

Outdoor Kitchen With Stainless Appliances

To create different spaces for entertaining, the landscape architects installed a counter that separates the sitting area from the outdoor kitchen. Here, the owners can use a stainless grill with outlets nearby for other essentials.

Counter Boasts Wicker Barstools

Three barstools line the counter, providing more space for guests during a barbeque or cook-out. Thanks to their wicker material, these seats easily complement the nearby armchairs.

Patio Includes Blue Planters & Pillows

Because the homeowners love blue, white and taupe, the C&H Landscaping team infused the patio with these pretty colors. Thus, blue and white planters, pillows and more make an appearance across the yard.

Color-Changing Lights at Night

The owners wanted an option to change the mood their patio through color-changing LED bulbs. These lights add a different feel to the space and are often used during holidays, parties etc.

Water Fountain Adds Ambient Sound

Though small in scale, this water fountain makes a big difference by offering ambient sound that the owners can enjoy inside and out. Thanks to its metallic design, the piece pairs well with the gray rock wall.

Steel Planter Creates Natural Wall

Instead of a railing, the C&H Landscaping team used steel planters with tall grasses and annuals to create a natural wall along the edge of the patio. Bonus? The feature adds a pretty pop of color.
