Andrea Wachs Interior Design is a full service, boutique design firm based in Tucson, Arizona. As owner and principal designer, Andrea combines experience, travel and a refined, elegant aesthetic to create the perfect signature style for each of her clients, both residential and commercial alike. An ASID certified designer, Wachs and her firm specialize in custom, luxury design throughout Arizona and Southern California.

Andrea’s distinct, soothing style has been crafted through years of travel in Europe and Asia. Her love of Parisian culture consistently finds its way into her myriad of projects, whether through sourced textiles or furnishings from her favorite city. Her design direction was further rooted during time spent living in New York City. As an event design specialist, Andrea planned numerous events for Fortune 500 companies, where she specialized in a variety of décor and lighting concepts for each. Time in Tokyo served to further enhance her growing fascination with calming tones and contemporary lines, often a signature of Japanese design and something she still incorporates into her work today. These diverse influences have resulted in what her clients and peers compliment as her “remarkably refined eye with an acute sensitivity to proportion and scale.”

With over 15 years in the interior design business, Andrea continues to expand her portfolio of clients and projects. After seven years working as a multi-disciplinary designer for a high profile Arizona firm, Andrea founded Andrea Wachs Interior Design in 2007. Her relationships with architects, artisans and the community in which she was born and raised, offered the perfect landscape for which to take her work and design passion to the forefront. Her firm is highly committed to a clean, sophisticated aesthetic. Andrea is astute with everything from scale to pattern, ensuring that each project literally sings with drama and pops with eye catching detail. She personally manages each project from inception to completion, offering a full scale of design services.

Andrea is involved in variety of industry projects and donates her time and talents to a myriad of charitable fundraisers and organizations throughout Tucson. She is married with one daughter and lives in one of her favorite projects to date: her beautiful home in Tucson’s Catalina Foothills.
