After
After a full makeover, this bathroom is glistening. The black-and-white tile floor melds beautifully with the blue vanity and eye-catching gold faucets and hardware. The bathtub was replaced and classic white subway tile lines the shower walls. A standard door leading into an adjacent bedroom was replaced with a space-saving sliding barn door, and simple board-and-batten trim was added to the walls to provide extra architectural interest.

Vanity Before
This single-sink vanity had plenty of counter space, but a second sink would be more practical.
Vanity After
This double sink vanity is the real focal point of this remodel. Adding a pop of color, the blue breaks away from the white walls. Having two sinks is so much more practical for two people getting ready in the morning. With six drawers and two cabinets, this new vanity provides plenty of storage as well as style.

Vanity Hardware
Complementing the gold sink faucets and showerhead is this amazing hardware. The sleek and modern design really pops against the bold blue of the vanity.
New Bathroom Faucet
Now a double vanity, the sinks needed to look as good as the rest of the bathroom, so a set of tall gold faucets were installed to add sparkle and functionality.
Mirror Before
Before the remodel, this blocky, dark bathroom mirror was too small for a long vanity.
Mirrors After
The clear globe light fixtures work perfectly with the mirrors, faucets and vanity and help create continuity throughout the rest of the bathroom. The color palette of gold, black and blue is a recipe for delight.

Floor Before
This old vinyl floor was dull and dated -- and the random bathmats didn't help, either.
Floor After
The long lines in the mosaic floor help elongate the room, making the entire space feel bigger. The triangular patterns in the floor tile make a wonderful contrast against the rectangular tile on the shower walls.

Shower Before
There was a lot of beige-on-beige in this bathroom. The dated shower enclosure practically blended into the wall without an ounce of personality.
Shower After
This shower looks as clean as it will make you. Decorated with crisp white subway tiles and gold hardware, the space is now simply elegant.

Tub After
Out with the old and in with the new, this white tub blends seamlessly with the white subway tile and mosaic floor.

Toilet After
Before the remodel, the toilet was not centered between the tub and vanity. Moving a toilet is not really a DIY job, so the homeowners called in a pro to move it.
Door and Walls Before
This bathroom used to have a standard door leading into an adjacent bedroom. It took up space when opened and added nothing to the decor.
Door and Walls After
This barn door was an easy way to spice up this bathroom remodel. The opaque glass panels make it modern and practical. The vertical lines in the board-and-batten wall treatment against the horizontal glass panels in the door add a bit of funky charm.
Ceiling Before
In need of an upgrade, these old popcorn ceilings had to go.
Ceiling After
This bathroom ceiling looks so much better after removing the textured surface, adding a fresh coat of paint and installing a new exhaust fan.
