Interior Designers Pick Their 15 Favorite Wallpaper Trends

Ready to give your home a lift? Nothing transforms like some statement wallpaper. But before you get started, find out how top designers are using wallpaper in various prints and applications and the trends they say are dominating right now in design.

Here, Cathy Rhodes Interiors uses wallpaper to transform this bedroom sitting room.

Interior designer Mel Bean of Mel Bean Interiors notes that "a wallpaper mural is a great idea for a living room or entertainment space." This relaxing pattern is from Nunnan Bleu Terrestre Wallpaper By Pierre Frey.

Wallpaper like Butterfly Garden by Osborne & Little on the ceiling is a bold statement, says designer Mel Bean, and adds real personality to this bar area. "A statement wall or surface doesn't always have to be at eye level," says Mel. "Adding wallpaper overhead allows you to appreciate a 360-degree view of the room." Here she has incorporated bold wallpaper on the ceiling for a dramatic look.
