Get Ready to Settle In for a 'September of Premieres' on HGTV

Has quarantining and social separation — or the year 2020 in general — got you down? We hear you. Unfortunately, we at HGTV can't rewrite history or alter the fabric of time, but we can at least offer you some escapist and feel-good television as part of our new fall season. To that end, this September, we invite you to tune in, turn on, stay home and watch us. We believe you'll be glad you did.

Heads up HGTV fans, friends and fervent followers. We've got news for you. But fear not. This is news of the heartening and upbeat variety. Think of it as an antidote of sorts. Or maybe, at least, a kind of healing balm.

Feel the Love

This is for our viewers — or anyone else, for that matter — who have, over the last few months, grown restless at home, begun to feel a little stir-crazy, grown bored with social distancing or weary within the confines of the "new normal." If any of this sounds like you, then you can — if you feel so inclined — prepare yourself to dive headlong into a fall season of truly great escape-TV. Who loves ya, baby?

Go ahead. Take a moment. Take a deep breath. Now exhale slowly. With the right mindset, you really will feel a difference. To quote transcendental guitar virtuoso Billy McLaughlin, "Inhale pink; exhale blue." But enough of that. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming and network announcements.

Rest assured that the programming gurus at HGTV have given these matters a lot of thought. Consequently there's a treasure-trove of the network's trademark feel-good home and lifestyle content all queued up for you and ready to premiere this September. All just in time for a change of season.

At last count, the month’s programming lineup includes more than 100 brand-new episodes of the network's most solid and popular TV comfort-food offerings — inspirational real-estate, renovation and design series along with a sprinkling of family-friendly (or just plain friendly) competition shows.

To wit: HGTV’s newest series, Renovation, Inc.
