Exposed Brick and Glass Paneled Cabinets Highlight Farmhouse Design in Kitchen

As seen on America's Most Desperate Kitchens, the original, exposed brick adds color and texture to this kitchen space, while a neutral color palette fills the rest of the space. White lower cabinets with a black quartz countertop provide storage in the space, while glass paneled upper cabinets and a farmhouse sink help the space maintain its vintage feel complemented by the mint green refrigerator and Kitchen Aid mixer.

Colorful Patterned Backsplash in Chef's Kitchen

The stainless steel range seamlessly blends into the Carrara marble countertops. Multicolored pattern tiles offer a decorative touch, standing out against the white subway tile and accentuating the new range.

Pub-Style Dining Room With Custom Bar

Warm wood tones, muted gray-greens and charcoal exemplify the casual, comfortable vibe of this pub-inspired dining room. The custom bar includes four pro-quality taps, white subway tile backsplash and a custom shelf with under-lighting that illuminate bottles or decorative items. A chalkboard accent wall is the perfect spot for homeowners to add a personal touch, while stamped-tin ceiling tiles bring historic character to the space.

Rustic Kitchen is Open and Functional

Purposeful contrast is created between the finishes from the natural look of reclaimed wood on the island to the traditional gray-green painted finish on the cabinets. The "area rug" runner is actually porcelain tile made to look like a rug. The 3'x8' pattern runs the length of the island, with each tile having a distinct look to collectively create unique design effect.

Comfortable, Rustic Dining Room With Touches of Glamour

The remodeled dining area -- in warm wood tones, muted gray-greens and charcoal -- exemplifies the casual, comfortable vibe the Kitchen Cousins were going for with this renovation. To add historic character to the dining room, stamped-tin tiles were installed on the ceiling. The tiles are in varied patterns alternating between linear, medallion and floral designs. An impressive chandelier adds a touch of elegance to the space.

Industrial, Loft-Inspired Kitchen and Adjacent Work Area

This newly renovated kitchen, designed by HGTV's Kitchen Cousins Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri and seen on America's Most Desperate Kitchens, has expanded storage, plenty of counter space and the open feel of an urban loft. What had once served as the dining room is now a functioning work area that shares space with the kitchen.

Cozy Transitional Living Room Full of Light

Prior to the renovation, the fireplace brick was a plain, drab color. Kitchen Cousins Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri painted the brick and the mantel in bright white for a stronger visual impact. The firewood holder is a welded steel box with plates attached at the top and mid-point for structural support. An oversized wall clock is made from reclaimed wood, while a five-piece modular sectional sofa makes for a comfy spot to relax.

Austin Loft-Inspired Kitchen

Kitchen Cousins John Colaneri and Anthony Carrino transformed a tiny kitchenette-style space into this impressive and versatile new kitchen with an open feel and free-flowing access to surrounding rooms. Walls were removed to remedy a confining, maze-like arrangement, and the floor plan for the kitchen as well as surrounding spaces was substantially reconfigured.

Pub-Style Dining Room Opens to Kitchen

The custom bar includes four pro-quality taps, white subway tile backsplash and a custom shelf with under-lighting that illuminate bottles or decorative items. Warm wood tones pair with muted gray-greens and charcoal for an inviting, pub-inspired color palette. Weathered wood chairs surround a round dining table, perfect for conversations and gatherings of friends.

Refrigerator Concealed in Custom Armoire Casing Painted Muted Blue

A focal point in this kitchen featured on America's Most Desperate Kitchens, and a key part to its French Country design is the concealed refrigerator. The custom armoire casing is painted in a muted blue with curved, ceiling height molding that softens the look of the kitchen.

Industrial Farmhouse

Anthony and John surprise Austin homeowners Josh and Jessica with a plan to remodel their 1940's cramped, drab, dark & dysfunctional kitchen. Hardly updated since it was built, the kitchen is not functional, has no flow and has very little storage for this busy family of 5. The cousins improve flow by removing French doors into a covered porch and adding a wall of cabinets topped with leathered granite, as well as a kitchen island, plenty of prep space and updated stainless steel appliances. The adjoining dining room gains French doors out to the back yard, a pub-height table set upon cabinets, a kids work area, industrial lighting and a wall of storage.
