Dining Nook with 3D Wall Treatment

The three-dimensional wall tiles in this dining nook are actually made from a recycled byproduct of sugar cane processing. The individual tiles fit together to form a seamless pattern and are easily installed using construction grade double-stick adhesive tape.

Retro Meet Industrial Kitchen is Open, Welcoming

When it comes to kitchen remodels, Kitchen Cousins John and Anthony have been known to blow out a few walls. For this project they took out the ceiling as well. They added a more substantial ridge beam and took the space to new heights with high vaulted ceilings. Mid-century-inspired furnishings combine with industrial touches to create a fun and funky vibe that's ideally suited to the homeowners -- two self-proclaimed nostalgia and antique-shop junkies.

Wood Cabinets Create Depth and Dimension in Kitchen Space

As seen on America’s Most Desperate Kitchens, designers added warmth to the kitchen space by added a block of wood cabinets on one end of the space. Then, they added wood panels to the front of the refrigerator to create depth and dimension, making the cabinets pop.

Bright Objects Keeps Corners Light

As seen on America's Most Desperate Kitchens, designers brightened a dark corner space by adding colored plants, fruits and colorful, vintage glass bottles. To help keep the small space feeling open and bright, glass paneled upper cabinets were installed helping to create an authentic, vintage feel to the space.

Open Floor Plan Kitchen Mixes Rustic, Modern Styles

The homeowners were ready to update their 80-year-old home in a historic part of Nashville. The old kitchen was impossibly small and impractical, but Kitchen Cousins Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri remove walls to open up the floor plan, install sleek white cabinets that contrast against the multi-colored tiled backsplash and create a large island with plenty of prep space.

Contemporary Rustic Kitchen Opens to Dining Area

Exposed reclaimed wood ceiling beams add a rustic touch to this contemporary kitchen. The long kitchen island is clad in stainless steel countertops and features a base of rough-hewn wooden legs made from driftwood. Bright white cabinets add lightness to the space, while a custom touch is a concrete apron-front sink.

Wood Floors Provide Warmth and Connect Kitchen and Living Room Spaces

To warm up this neutral kitchen, designers added light wood floors running throughout the space. Not only do these wood floors help to provide warmth to the space, they also help the exposed beams in the ceiling to visually connect the kitchen and living room spaces.

Open Floor Plan Creates a Visually and Physically Connected Entertaining Space

To create a more open space in the common areas of this home, designers of America's Most Desperate Kitchens removed the wall that separated the kitchen and living room areas, visually and physically connecting the space and expanding the home's entertaining space.

Wood and Metal Blend to Create Seamless Industrial Design

In this kitchen, designers from America's Most Desperate Kitchens created an elegant, industrial space for these homeowners. The neutral color of the cabinets and countertops are offset by the blue backsplash that makes the space pop, while metal and wood blend together to create a seamless, industrial design.

Vintage-Inspired Kitchen Mixes Clean Lines, Industrial Feel

The clean, modern cabinets have beechwood surrounds, plywood back boxes and feature soft-close. The cabinet hardware has the look of weathered copper with a blue-green verdigris patina. Antique inspiration is behind the kitchen island, which is clad in a cold-rolled steel wrapped around a plywood substrate for a smooth and durable work surface.

Beautiful Bakers Kitchen

A horribly worn kitchen with dated avocado-colored appliances and low-hanging cabinets is blown open to join the living and dining rooms, creating one huge modern living space! Industrial Farmhouse

Anthony and John surprise Austin homeowners Josh and Jessica with a plan to remodel their 1940's cramped, drab, dark & dysfunctional kitchen. Hardly updated since it was built, the kitchen is not functional, has no flow and has very little storage for this busy family of 5. The cousins improve flow by removing French doors into a covered porch and adding a wall of cabinets topped with leathered granite, as well as a kitchen island, plenty of prep space and updated stainless steel appliances. The adjoining dining room gains French doors out to the back yard, a pub-height table set upon cabinets, a kids work area, industrial lighting and a wall of storage.
