Ticking Stripes, Meg Caswell

“This classic, preppy stripe reminds me of the awning I had on my store for years. The navy mixes perfectly with upbeat colors and playful dots in a kid’s room.” Paint: (blue) Sailboat and (white) Snow Fall, both by Behr

Ombré Stripes, Vern Yip

“Stripes ranging from light to dark give a space amazing energy. And they’re a cinch to paint—even in a bathroom.” Selecting five happy-together colors is totally foolproof—just pick from the same paint strip. Paint: (from top) Gratifying Green, Bonsai Tint, Haven, Dill, and Greenfield, all by Sherwin-Williams
