Frozen Texas Twister Cocktail Sharon Hyland, a native Texan, says when you want to blow people away and celebrate in true Lone Star style use the best tequila (such as Patron Silver) in this frozen confection.

Ingredients:

2-1/2 to 3 oz. high-quality tequila
1-1/2 oz. Grand Marnier
1-1/2 to 2 oz. fresh lime juice
1/4 pint frozen limeade
Splash of Corona (or your favorite Mexican beer)
Splash of your favorite red wine such as Zinfandel
2 cups crushed ice

Preparation:

Blend all ingredients with ice in blender until smooth. Pour into a chilled margarita glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Yield: Two drinks
