How to Make Wedding Confetti Cones
Adorn wedding reception chairs with these sweet confetti cones so guests can celebrate the bride and groom as they leave for their honeymoon.
- printable scrapbook paper
- double-sided tape
- crepe paper
- floral tape
- hot glue
Assemble Materials and Measure Paper
Assemble the craft materials (Image 1). Print the printable scrapbook paper onto a piece of white A4 card stock. Measure the center of the paper width and the paper height and mark them with dots. Join the dots to draw a diamond shape on the back of the paper (Image 2).
Form the Cone
Cut out the diamond shape (Image 1). Roll the paper along the widest side to form a cone and secure with double-sided tape (Image 2).
Hot-glue a piece of ribbon to either side of the cone. These are the handles for hanging the cones.
Make Flower Confetti
Cut petal shapes from the crepe paper. Roll a petal on itself to form a rosebud. Secure ends with floral tape. Keep adding petals around the bud until you reach desired "fullness." Secure each petal in place with floral tape.
Trim Flower Confetti Buds
Trim as much of the ends of the paper rose as you can, just where the floral tape ends.
Add Embellishment and Fill Cones
Hot-glue rose to front of the cone. Fill cones with rose petals or confetti and hang on chairs.
