Neat Method Founders: Ashley Murphy and Molly Graves

Neat Method began when its founders, Ashley Murphy and Molly Graves, met while shopping in San Francisco. Both had recently been uprooted from Chicago and relocated to the City by the Bay. Ashley and Molly discovered their affinity for creating clutter-free and organized spaces within their homes. Over glasses of California vino, they discussed the ins and outs of what this mutual passion could look like as a business, and the rest is history.

Office Organization Project in Washington, D.C.

“This particular bachelor wanted his office space to be functional, but look good. The biggest issue was making his items not only fit on the shelves, but making sure they look organized. With a little categorizing, color-coding and adding some organizational solutions, we were able to create the perfect office space.” - Ashley Murphy and Molly Graves, founders of the Neat Method.

Craft Room Organization Project in San Francisco

“Our main challenge was to first organize the endless amount of small craft accessories that seemed to end up in one giant pile. It’s too easy to let small items like beads, buttons and rhinestones end up in one giant pile. By sorting specific categories, our client was able to keep track of her products.” - Ashley Murphy and Molly Graves, founders of the Neat Method.

Closet Organization Project in San Diego

"We love nothing more than a blank canvas, or in this case, a closet. Which is exactly what we got we unpacking this adorable couple into their new home. As their first home purchase together, it was extremely important for us to create a space that was functional, aesthetically pleasing, and most importantly, made them excited about finally having their dream walk-in closet together. We designed his-and-hers sides and categorized items by type and color. We created a closet that made them feel like they were shopping their clothes."- Ashley Murphy and Molly Graves, founders of the Neat Method.

“We always tell our clients that the secret to living a neat life is to make sure that everything has a home. Like these neatly labeled jars. Label baskets and bins to contain the clutter and help you clean up in a moment’s notice.” - Ashley Murphy and Molly Graves, founders of the Neat Method.

“Now more than ever, people are working from home and they need a space that provides inspiration but allows them to concentrate. This client came to us because she had a hard time keeping her home office organized. After space planning and sorting through items, we were able to create a much more functional space.” - Ashley Murphy and Molly Graves, founders of the Neat Method.

Bathroom Organization Project in Minneapolis

Our main challenge was sorting through the many toiletries and medicines that had accumulated over the years. After discarding expired items and implementing categorized and labeled bins, the end result was a perfectly functional closet. Now anyone in the home, from the client to their cleaning service, can easily find anything they may need to use.” - Ashley Murphy and Molly Graves, founders of the Neat Method.
