A judiciously placed grouping of colorful accents bring this austere white space to life. The contrasting bold accent pieces and white walls and credenza provide a clean, sleek look in the space.

Sometimes all you need is one bold splash of pink, like this artwork. Even though it's the only pink piece in the entire space, it still manages to keep its spot as the center of attention, as it's both completely bold and unexpected.

Colorful + Funky Kids' Bedroom

White Kid's Room With Pink Twin Bed and Open Shelving

White Kid's Room With Pink Twin Bed and Open Shelving

A white wall color allows pops of pink and orange to stand out in this adorable little girl's room. Two picture windows flank unusual wood storage shelves fit for beloved stuffed animals, keeping the room clean and tidy. Orange and pink bedding add bold color to the space and complement a pair of miniature orange armchairs and matching ottoman.

With colorful fabrics and textures, the pink accents in this space still manage to stand out for big impact. While this room definitely has a "more is more" approach, all the elements are so well balanced it definitely works.

Peek Inside the Line Hotel's Hello Kitty Suite

Lounge Area

Among the more outrageous items in the Line Hotel's Hello Kitty designer suite are the stacked couch and end tables draped with brown leatherette to look like chocolate eclairs, the coffee tables and stools made to look like stacks of Hello Kitty notepaper, and the seats made of tightly bundled Hello Kitty cushions. The design elements were created by Sean Knibb specifically for the suite.

Great Room

Here's another view of the suite that was used as the VIP lounge of the official Hello Kitty Birthday Party. Note that even the wallpaper was pretty in pink, and the window shades had the Hello Kitty motif.

On a Normal Day

This is what a suite in the Line Hotel, located in L.A.'s Korea Town, normally looks like without the Hello Kitty crazed decor. The concrete walls and floor to ceiling windows are the same, but that's about it.

The hotel’s signature gray cement walls were splashed with bubblegum pink, and the bed was covered with a quilt made from the pervasive themed stuffed characters and cushions. Note the puffy pink clouds adhered to the ceiling.

Kids' Sitting Area

This pint-sized seating area is illuminated by an overhead light draped with Hello Kitty toilet paper. Even the ceiling is decorated.

Wall/Toilet Paper

Here's a closeup of the themed toilet paper used not only for the obvious purpose, but also to cover walls, ceilings and even a floaty lampshade.

Bathroom Mirror

Who needs to see your own reflection when you can stare at hundreds of Hello Kitties while you're washing your hands? Perhaps the hot pink mirror coating was placed there to discourage excessive bathroom time?

This daisy encrusted bathtub has a rim lined with tiny waterproof Hello Kitty toys. That's one way to get kids in the tub. Also, note the themed bandaids on the shelves on the right. We're thinking the blue KN on the wall behind the tub stands for the designer's last name, Knibbe. He certainly deserves the credit!

The Line Hotel

During the world's first Hello Kitty Con, held at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) ground zero offsite was the new Line Hotel in L.A.'s Korea Town, where the famed Sanrio-themed suite was located.

Victorian-Style Bathroom

A clawfoot tub painted with gold leaf paint is the focal point of this small bathroom designed by HGTV's Property Brothers. The chandelier is also gold-leaf, as is the mirror frame. Pink-and-silver wallpaper give the room a modern, eclectic twist.

This pink victorian-style bathroom with a brass clawfoot tub is positively dreamy. The chic wallpaper and vintage chandelier tie everything together, and the minimal white shutters manage not to distract any attention away from the va-va-voom factor of the space.

Mod Kitchen

Modern Kitchen With Skylight & Hot Pink Barstools

This modern kitchen enjoys lots of natural sunlight thanks to a large skylight and windows. Pink barstools cozy up to a sleek kitchen island, while a glass dining table boasts formal seating in the adjoining dining space.

With a few subtle pink accents, the entire "wow" factor of this kitchen is seriously amped up. Keeping the rest of the room's palette neutral allows the light fixture and the bar stools to really pop, bringing a fun and unique feel to the room.

Fresh Kids' Room

If you want to incorporate pink into a kids' room without making it feel too "girly," bringing in a second color is a great way to go. The green accents in this space balance the pink touches perfectly and serve as the ideal backdrop while making the space feel fresh and modern.

Glam Walk-In

Luxurious patterned carpeting and neutral furnishings balance out the bright pink shelving in this glamorous dressing room designed by Nicole Norris, ASID, NCIDQ. Details such as a contemporary gold chandelier add a touch of glamour to the space. Since the room was so large, several ready-made furniture pieces were added in addition to the custom shelving.

Sometimes you just want to embrace the pink and let it completely define your space, and this pink walk-in closet does just that. Using gray accents and modern art, this closet is glam, fun and definitely Carrie Bradshaw-approved.

Boho Patio

A vibrant outdoor rug anchors this patio in pattern and color. A mix of rustic and tropical wood furniture, a few strings of lights and scattered container gardens create a bohemian vibe. In close proximity to the backdoor, this outdoor living room space is perfect for casual entertaining.

This pink rug is a major showstopper. Again, the technique of using one big, bold pink piece does an amazing job of making this boho outdoor space feel a bit more modern and fun.

Sweet Nursery

The Perfect Color Combo

The Perfect Color Combo

Consider a masculine hue, such as brown, to balance an all-pink color scheme in a nursery.

While this baby girl's nursery is definitively pink, the brown accents make it feel much fresher than a typical pink nursery. The wallpaper panels are gorgeous and do a great job of layering the color with different pink hues.
