Michelle Strausbaugh, the owner and principal designer of Reveal Studio, has a distinctlove of interior design, an insane passion for pleasing her clients, and a unique desire tomake work fun.  “I spent the first 15 years of my career growing small companies in highpressure environments. I vowed the next 15 would be just as exciting but way more fun.”  

Once research is done and a decision is made, Michelle is not one to test the waters.She tends to jump in fully clothed.  So in 2002, she sold her house, quit her job, packed her car and drove 2,461 miles from Pittsburgh to San Diego to follow her passion for interior design.  As soon as she hit the West coast, she dove into a rigorous BFA Interior Design program, took full-time employment as a designer at Expo Design Center, and launched her design business on the side.  Life changes are never easy, but if asked,she will tell you it was the hardest and best thing she ever did.  Her life now consists of meeting the most interesting people, listening intently to their own stories, and spinning an interior tale reflecting their life travels.

Reveal Studio opened its doors in 2009 as experts in interior remodeling and furnishings,with specializations in kitchens and bathrooms.  The company values are authenticity,honesty, integrity, and let’s-make-them-happy!  The team of specialized designers –including art, cabinetry, furniture, lighting, and window treatments – strives to reflect thehomeowner’s personality and create their dream space.  Reveal Studio’s designs tend to be uncluttered and streamlined.  Every piece is carefully selected for its place in the final composition or for its special meaning to the homeowner.  Reveal Studio is based on San Diego, but has worked on projects throughout the United States.  You will see their designs fastidiously reflecting clients’ style and interests in California, Maryland, Minnesota, Texas and Utah.
