About

Furman + Keil Architects is a small design firm located in Austin, Texas. Founded in 1995 by firm principal Gary Furman, FKA is celebrating two decades of architectural practice rooted in the community we love and fueled by the dedicated people who have designed and built our firm.

Our work seeks a fresh balance between local traditions and innovative design. We strive to create timeless, sustainable buildings grounded in a strong sense of place and built to be enjoyed by our clients for generations. Best known for our custom residential design work, we have expanded our scope over the last several years to include small-scale commercial projects, particularly in the hospitality sector.
