For this Hoboken condo living room renovation, designer Amy Elbaum chose contemporary furnishings, a neutral color palette and pops of color to amplify the city view out the homeowners' windows. The simple, gray window treatments do not distract from the magnificent scene beyond, and they blend well with the sofa and area rug for a cohesive look.

Designer Amy Elbaum selected a modern-styled wingback chair in navy blue to place in the corner of the living room in this apartment redesign. Not only is the chair comfortable, but it also displays great style against the urban skyline out the window. The furry white pillow provides a whimsical touch.

Carefully placed translucent accents in the bar area play up the modern design of the kitchen and give the space a more pristine aesthetic. The white countertop, walls and cabinetry showcase each decorative item of color, such as the gold drinking glasses on the table and the orchid plant in its gold vase.
