En Suite Bathroom With Organic Appeal
Working from the architectural plans for a yet to be constructed new home, the designer allocated space for the bedroom, large walk-in closet, and also created the footprint for the en suite bathroom. Stacked wall storage units for paper products are arranged to mimic architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s stacked repetition detail. Flush shower ceiling tile and the wood ceiling alignment created an uninterrupted clean look.
Symmetrical Bathroom With Green-Brown Mosaic Tile Shower Wall
Creating a symmetrical plan, the designer oriented the shower and the tub to face the windows and a view of the trees. Porcelain floors and wall tiles with a subtle stone appearance, green/brown mosaic glass feature tiles, teak wood veneer and metal details enhance the natural, organic look of this contemporary beauty.
Daring and Bright Bathroom With Asian and Midcentury Touches
This master bathroom exudes a Zen quality with clean lines in the double vanity, mirror and shoji-style sliding door. Bright yellow tile and glass pendant lights invoke touches of midcentury style while infusing energy into the otherwise serene space.
Walls of Texture
The wood flooring in the sink area transitions to a sloped floor to accommodate the open shower, while a textured wall and a series of niches delight the eye while providing practical functionality. The open shower’s sensuous wall of texture is reminiscent of mid-century patterns.

Embrace the Energy
Living in a home with an emphasis on bold hues, the homeowners hoped to stay away from neutrals and embrace the energy of powerful color combinations. This master bathroom communicates fresh energy with imaginative color and natural light. A periwinkle blue vanity is illuminated by sparkling pendants made of textured hand-blown glass.

Eclectic Bathroom With Wood and Stone Detail
Influences from architect Frank Lloyd Wright are seen in this powder room with the rhythmic play of the decorative vertical wood ladder detail, horizontal stacked bands of solid surface material and wood for the vanity. Additional warmth and interest were added with three stacked metal horizontal sconces. The vertical band of mirror visually expands the space, and the chrome faucet disappears into the mirror, creating a waterfall experience into the sculptural stone sink.

Master Bathroom Remodel
This master bath remodel was sparked by a flood in the client’s home. Working with the same floor plan, the designer renovated the bath with new tiles, cabinetry, countertops and fixtures. The shower area features a corner seat and recessed niches for soap and shampoo, and the vanity is adorned with white cabinets with crystal knobs.

All the Small Things
Small details such as a magnifying makeup mirror and an additional medicine cabinet were incorporated on both sides of this double vanity. The countertops were crema marfil with a beveled edge to match the beveled pencil liners which blend perfectly with the Diana Royale tiles. Embracing light and neutral tones, this bathroom shines in all its glory.
Black and White Modern Farmhouse Bathroom
The homeowners preferred a more space-efficient bathroom that would flow with their rustic yet modern farmhouse. The white wall-mounted toilet, sink and medicine cabinet pop against the dark tile, and the white subway tile in the shower balances the white fixtures in the room.
Rustic Bathroom With a Modern Twist
The wormy chestnut vanity in this bathroom was topped with a thick concrete top and semi-recessed sink. In order to complement the rustic farmhouse look, the designer finished the floor and three of the walls with tiles made to look like weathered lumber. Tiling to the ceiling leaves the room feeling taller than it actually is.
Sleek and Curbless
A number of approaches enabled the bathroom to feel bigger – installation of a new pocket door eliminated congestion and replacing the tub with a curbless shower removed physical as well as visual barriers. The sleek wall-mounted toilet conserves floor space with its tank built inside the wall.
Charming Floral Powder Room With Hammered Nickel Vessel Sink
A curved, natural walnut vanity topped with Calacatta marble served as a design solution that met the client’s needs. The upholstered door panel addressed the client’s concern about sound transfer. Other highlights, including a custom backsplash topped with a beveled glass, a stone-framed mirror, a hammered nickel vessel sink and Romo’s dynamic Kimura wallpaper, add that extra edge to this exquisite and functional space.
Pretty Little Jewel Box
Tucked behind the foyer of a meticulously modified Mediterranean home, this elegant powder room is just what the client asked for – a “pretty little jewel box” to help visitors feel pampered. The 24-square foot space was carved out of an inefficient pass-through once connecting the kitchen and dining room. The designer created an alcove to accommodate the sink area and a vanity cabinet. The jewels include faceted crystal cabinet knobs and a sparkly chandelier for just the right amount of bling.
Deep Blue Sea
Being ardent Scuba Divers, the clients requested that their show stopping powder room be a true reflection of their marine expeditions! To create the illusion of flowing water, the designer installed a tile with an aquatic pattern, which when put together created the desired cascading effect. Anchoring this set-up is a dark-stained cherry slab panel door cabinet that hides the plumbing.

Ocean-Inspired Powder Room
Complementing the light, flowing feel and effect of the tiles, a recycled Ocean Blue glass countertop creates a visual effect with a glow resembling a reflecting pool. A clear vessel bowl allows the beauty of the countertop to shine through and refrains from overpowering the vanity.
