I love having fresh flowers in my home, but with a family, splurging on expensive arrangements from the florist isn’t a top priority. Supermarket florals aren’t always attractive, but with a few quick tricks, you can get creative on a budget with inexpensive pre-arranged grocery store florals. Here are some tips for how to turn budget flowers into table topics for under $20! 

Materials Needed

  • 1-2 Pre-Arranged Floral Bouquets
  • Water
  • Shears
  • Vase

Choose the Flowers

To get the best look, select flowers in a variety of different textures. Disassemble the arrangement according to type.

Prepare the Stems

Cut the stems of all the flowers low enough to fit the vessel you intend to place them in and prune the stems with shears. 

Arrange and Finish

Add water to your chosen vase. Group the desired flowers by hand, secure them with a rubber band and place them in the vase. Now you have a beautiful arrangement fit for any room or occasion— without breaking the bank!
