Technique 1: Multicolored Stripes
Use washi or masking tape to section off the bracelet where desired. Tip: Try halves or quarters. Using a paintbrush, paint the sections of the wooden bracelet over the tape edges to create a clean line. Let dry, then remove the tape.
Technique 2: Multicolored Fingerprints
Place small dollops of four colors of paint on a paper plate or sheet of waxed paper.
Starting with the first color, dip fingertip into paint and stamp randomly on the outside of the wooden bracelet. Repeat with the remaining three colors
Next, use the second color to add more fingerprints, filling in between the first color. Repeat with third and fourth colors, overlapping fingerprints occasionally to create the desired effect.
Technique 3: Small Polka Dots
Use the same technique as the fingerprint method, but use a cotton swab to apply each paint color to create pint-sized polka dots.
Once you finish decorating the bracelets, tie on a free printable Mother's Day gift tag and present to Mom. Happy Mother's Day!
