Materials Needed

  • large roll of white crepe paper
  • large googly eyes
  • adhesive putty
  • scissors

Cut + Attach Paper

Outline all four sides of the door with balls of adhesive putty. Cut multiple strips of crepe paper the width of your door and attach them to the putty horizontally in a crisscross pattern to create a mummified effect (Images 1 and 2). After attaching the crepe paper the full length of the door, use your fingertips to push on each piece for additional hold. Trim off any excess paper pieces.

Add the Googly Eyes

Put more putty on the backside of both googly eyes. Move a few pieces of crepe paper out to the way so you can attach the eyes directly to the door (Image 1), then pull the crepe paper around the eyes for  a more mummified effect (Image 2).
