In the mid-'90s, Mark Markgraf bought a 1979 A-frame home, where he now lives with his wife, Yvonne, and their 2-year-old son. Mark and Yvonne have decided it's time to turn this former bachelor pad into an inviting family home and have challenged three interior designers to tackle the job.

The Markgrafs decide on the expertise of designer Ron Hunt to update their spacious living area.

Before

Before the makeover this home had more of a bachelor feel to it than an inviting home for a young family. Now, what was once a dark, confined space is wide open and bright with a resort feel.
