The Slay's Glam Cabin vs Randy's Rooster Renovation

A House on Foster Drive in Lake Worth Texas is a quaint stone-clad house with a small addition. Both the Slays and Randy like it; the Slays because Cody thinks it will make a nice hunting cabin and Randy mainly because he can make some money just selling the stone. The Snows think it is more work than it's worth. The bidding gets nasty between the Slays and Randy, but Cody and Suzi eventually win it. But before it can be moved, Cody will have to sweat it out and hack off the stone façade by hand. During the renovation, Cody and Suzi butt heads when she wants to add some of her special glam touches to her Cabin and Cody wants to make it a manly space. Another house on Huron Trail in Lake Worth is a two-bedroom 1960's era house in need of a significant renovation. Only half of the house is salvageable and all the electrical must be replaced. Since Randy can do that kind of work himself, he's much more interested in the house than either the Snows or Slays. Randy gets the house at a relatively low price. When the Snow sisters heckle Randy about his design/decorating abilities, he hires a designer (Travis Lewis) to help him out. There is tension between Randy and Travis when it is clear that Randy wants to save every penny and not spend much on the design, which handicaps Travis, when they can't agree on the layout and when Randy decides to surprise Travis with a unique decoration that he found.

They make no secret of their excitement about it. Randy is lukewarm about it, but is interested if the price is right. Suzi loves the house but Cody is adamant that it would be too complicated for Casey to move it and they will have to pass. During the auction, it looks like Donna has it wrapped up when Randy drops out after the price starts to climb. At the last second, Suzi jumps in unexpectedly and the price continues to climb. Cody does everything he can to stop Suzi from bidding and Donna eventually takes it as the Slays argue. Their plan is to cut the house in half and move it in two pieces and then decorate the house with a nod to the original style. In Weatherford, Texas an attractive ranch style that appeals to all of the movers, especially Randy is up for auction. As the price climbs, the Snows drop out, followed by the Slays. The price keeps climbing with other bidders staying in. It finally gets too rich for Randy's blood and he drops out, leaving the win to an architectural salvage company owner. Suzi's Custom Bling Closet Remodel

Cody & Suzi Slay win a house that has some great potential. The post-auction tour reveals that the house was in the process of being renovated with some of the walls already having been demolished. It looks bad, but Cody points out that some of the work has already been done and at least they can see what the wood behind the walls looks like, and the studs look good! The Slays are excited by the potential return on investment here. The layout is a little unusual in that there is a large open space in the center of the house, but no decent sized closets. Suzi is gunning for a big Master ensuite bath, but Cody is staunchly against it, arguing that bathrooms add to budget, for re-sale one bath for two bedrooms is just enough. Suzi decides to instead have Cody build a giant luxury walk-in closet, modeled after her home closet an she decides to poach Randy's secret weapon designer, Travis to assist her. When Randy gets wind of the poaching he comes for a snoop and he isn't pleased. Meanwhile the Snow Sisters are not bidding or flipping a house this week because school building season is in full bloom – moving school buildings is how the Snow's make their cash to buy and flip houses the rest of the year – so it's all hands on deck with the Snow family to move buildings.
