In addition to giving you a blissful feeling each time you look upon it, an organized pantry can save you money and time, and even teach you about your shopping and eating habits. The first step to organizing your pantry is to de-clutter it—get rid of anything old, expired or unused.

Next up, measure, then measure again. You'll need to know your pantry's dimensions before you invest in an organizer. Got those figures? Now it's time to decide on an organizer.

Slide-out drawers can be a great pantry organizing tool. They allow for easy access to all of the food stores in your pantry, and they come in a variety of styles and sizes.

Clear stackable containers can be a great pantry solution—they're very space-efficient, and they allow you to see all of your food stores conveniently stacked in tiers.

Many pantries become overcrowded with cereals and snacks. Consider adding cereal and snack dispensers, and dispense with all the clunky bags and boxes.

Finally, think about combining your pantry and spice rack, by adding a space-efficient spice rack to the inside of your pantry door.
