How to Make a Rainbow Paper Wreath
Help your kids make this colorful paper wreath this St. Patrick's Day.
- 12x12" sheets of paper in rainbow colors
- paper cutter
- pencil
- hot glue gun and sticks
- scrap piece of cardboard
- clover cutouts, ribbons, buttons etc.
Make Wreath Form
Cut a piece of cardboard or foam core into a 9" circle with a 4" hole in the center.
Cut Paper Strips
Trim 20-25 1/4" strips of each color paper.
Create Spirals
Wrap each paper strip around a pencil to create a spiral effect.
Attach Spiraled Strips
Working in the color order of the rainbow, tightly hot gluepaper spirals in different directions onto the wreath form.
Add Finishing Touches
Add paper cutouts, buttons, sequins or gold coins with hot glue. Attach a ribbon at the top for hanging.
