This simple childhood craft is mess-free and can turn any undesirable area into a main attraction. Have fun with color combinations and add a pop of whimsy to your photographs! 

Materials Needed

  • Paper
  • Ruler
  • Scissors
  • Stapler or adhesive

Pick Your Paper

Select complimenting paper color and thickness based on your theme, and then cut it into 1.5” rectangular strips. 

Assemble 

Round strip and staple the edges to create a link. Thread a second strip of paper through the center of the first link.  Repeat link pattern to create a chain.

Finish and Display 

Piece together the rest of your chains, alternating colors and patterns when desired. Hang it on the wall of your choosing, and now you’re set with the perfect party backdrop for any occasion!
