Put Down Roots

Pinch off tiny bits of assorted mosses. With help from the blunt end of the wooden skewer, push the mosses down into the bottom of the vial. Fill the vial approximately half way with the moss.

Add Woodland Elements

The wires on these tiny mushrooms were trimmed to the depth of the moss.

Decorating Fun

Then they were gently guided into the moss to create this woodland scene.

Deer Friends

A couple of small deer were added to this vial. The wooden skewer comes in handy to assist with proper placement.

Assemble the Gift Tag

Cut a six inch piece of raffia. Fold it in half to make a loop in the middle like so.

Add Raffia

Push the loop on the raffia through the hole on the tag.

Bring Up the Ends

Take the ends of the raffia and put them through the loop like so.

Gentle Tug

Attach the Tag

Tie the tag onto the cork  in a knot and trim the raffia's ends.

Top it Off

Gently insert the cork into the top of the vial leaving a bit of space between the figures and the cork.
