Create the look of stained glass on an existing window with adhesive film and stick-on lead.
*Note: This project is demonstrated on a glass piece, but the idea is to tape a pattern on a clear window and work at eye level.
Materials and Tools:
window
rubbing alcohol
any pattern on paper
tape
stick-on lead strips
cutting tool
burnishing tool
self-adhesive, colored film (available at craft stores)
Steps:
- Clean the window with rubbing alcohol.
- Apply a pattern with tape to the outside of the window.
