The homeowner wanted to embrace pink, feminine design and florals throughout her Winter Park, Fla., townhouse. Designer John McClain uses a neutral backdrop to set the scene for this bedroom, so that the metallic four-poster bed, mirrored nightstand and custom pink bedding become the star of the space.

The red-and-white sitting area in the master bedroom makes use of various patterns and textures to achieve the ideal cottage look. The dark, saturated red of the chair and ottoman is softened with pink and white details throughout the room. Design by Sarah Richardson
