An attic hatch door is concealed in a decorative wall grid crafted by builder Glenn MacKenzie. The treatment extends the length of one wall, where 1x4s duplicate the look of expensive wood paneling.

Track lighting illuminates the entrance to the Sitting Room, where sunlight provides sufficient lighting during daytime hours.

The stairway makes its ascent to the tower level. At the landing, a 3x4-foot grapevine wreath continues the design motif of circles and squares.
