Chris crashes John & Kyle's back yard - a dysfunctional space with a tiny pink patio that's hard to host gatherings in. Chris designs an eating area with a cedar slat pergola, custom cedar slat dining table and matching skinny bar. Large concrete pavers are set to draw visitors into the lounging area complete with a large concrete raised planter that anchors a sectional sofa and slatted coffee table. The garage wall is covered with a metal & cedar arbor, and in front, is an inset trough-style bubbling water feature. Finally, architectural privacy walls are added along with plenty of low maintenance plants.
This backyard has gone to the chickens and these homeowners desperately want to co-exist with their little critters. Chris Lambton delivers with a design that includes an oversized custom chicken coop, a redwood water wheel- water feature and reclaimed garden boxes filled with an assortment of farm-to-fork vegetables. An old world stonewall and a one-of-kind 10ft long farm table along with a rustic grill island and colorful plants throughout the yard.
A boring and neglected yard transforms into a West Coast Party Pad. Chris Lambton and crew crash this backyard with a massive metal bar and redwood pergola. Underneath the bar is a large boardwalk deck, on top of the deck is a rustic metal fire bowl adjacent to a one of a kind decorative art wall. Metal planters filled with drought tolerant plants, fresh sod and plants.
A dull and muddy space transforms into a traditional Charleston backyard, including a local hand cut brick patio. Chris and his crew also construct a natural stone seat wall inside an oyster fire pit. An oversized reclaimed farmhouse table is built with matching benches and décor. A gravel seating area and custom fishing pole rack is placed alongside a relaxing pond area and a traditional Charleston arbor welcomes you into the space, along with lots of colorful and native plants.
