Come Sail Away

Retirees Rik and Aleid met online six years ago and haven't looked back. After spending the last three years sailing the Mediterranean and Black Seas on their 44' sail boat, they've decided to return to Amsterdam to be closer to their two grandchildren. But they're not ready to give up their sea legs just yet, opting for a houseboat. With Amsterdam's houseboat inventory being limited, and often very old, they know they'll be purchasing a fixer-upper. Even knowing this, however, does not prepare them for the unique challenges that accompany renovating a houseboatand as the problems pile up, they threaten to sink the entire project.
