Contemporary Guest Room

Homeowners Daniel and Heather Cutter’s guestroom plays second fiddle to the couch for their frequent guests. The Design Remix team chooses a rich, dark color for the walls, transforms some pieces into antique, expensive-looking furniture and adds some contemporary art. The lackluster bed is anchored with a headboard made from some plywood, existing throw pillows and some fabric. Even the mirrored closet doors are creatively covered with some burlap, all together creating a very welcoming guest room indeed.
