Eric is in historic Milford, Connecticut, one of the oldest communities in America. With growing family needs, homeowners Andrew and Rachael need extra space for a home office for Rachael, an area to home school their young child and space for guests to sleep when visiting from out of town. Eric and his team open up their dusty, unused attic and turn it into a loft creating extra space for Andrew and Rachael's needs. Additionally, Eric removes the old staircase to create extra space, replacing it with a spiral staircase that leads up to the loft from the second floor below.
Eric travels to the beautiful boating and fishing town of Rowayton, CT, to help make a woman's cramped farmhouse more spacious. The team starts by creating a floating staircase before removing the chimney and replacing it with a kitchen peninsula. They'll finish the job by adding a fireplace with a TV inset as well as a special feature just for her dog.
Eric visits his hometown of Shippan, CT, where he meets with a couple in dire need of their own space separate from their daughter and her friends. After getting inspiration at a local pub, Eric transforms their basement into an incredible Irish-influenced tavern perfect for getting away from the kids.
