This portable carpet and upholstery cleaner has gone viral for good reason. It works wonders on furniture and rugs with stubborn stains, and its compact size makes it easy to store and transport. In our tested carpet cleaner review, we named it the "best portable" carpet cleaner, and this is the lowest price we've seen it sold for.
This relatively affordable upright cleaner checks all the boxes for us: ample tank size, powerful cleaning capability, simple assembly, automatic shampoo release and mixing, and easy to clean.
If you need new bed pillows, our favorite overall pillow is marked down for Prime Big Deal Days. Known far and wide as "the internet's favorite pillow," The Original Pillow from Coop Home Goods certainly lived up to the hype in testing for our bed pillow product review. We love the ability to adjust the fill of the pillow. Take note that this pillow does require a lot of adjusting to get the fill just right, but once you find the perfect loft level, no other pillow competes with the support and softness of The Original.

This high-tech, small-space hydroponic system features an LED lighting system that fosters photosynthesis and plant growth even in dark rooms and winter.
Named our favorite "best foldable steamer" in our editor-tested review of clothing steamers, this handheld steamer is compact and travel-friendly. It heats up in just 30 seconds and can be used both horizontally and vertically.
Named our "best overall" pick in our tested review, this tower fan rarely goes on sale this much, so it's a great time to snag it on sale. The 42-inch fan quickly assembles by snapping the round base into the tower unit — no tools required. A buttoned control panel pairs with LED indicator lights to make operating the fan a breeze. An easy-to-use remote stores in the back of the fan for quick storage, though the two AAA batteries required to operate it are not included. With cooling power you can feel right away, the fan features three adjustable speeds, 90-degree oscillation, an automatic timer and a nighttime setting. The powerful, widespread cooling design makes this fan ideal for all room sizes, including the living room, kitchen, office or bedroom.
Whether you're on the hunt for a tower fan that will keep you cool while you sleep or a fan that will provide peaceful white noise, look to the Dreo Nomad One to do both. This fan takes our "best for sleeping" spot in our tested review of tower fans thanks to its "quieter-than-a-whisper" cooling power that puts out as low as 34 decibels of sound, according to the company’s website.
The Best Tower Fans of 2023, Tested by HGTV Editors
Perfect for hot summers and hot sleepers, stay cool with one of these editor-approved tower fans.
At just 1.4 pounds, the Shark WANDVAC combines lightweight portability with the suction power of a high-speed brushless motor. It features a tapered nozzle for easy debris and dust pickup and comes with two accessories — a duster crevice tool and a multi-surface pet tool — for tackling pet hair, upholstery and tight spaces. Without its attachments, we found it works best on hard surfaces (like hardwood floors) and low-pile rugs or upholstery. You’ll want to use the attachments for higher-pile rugs and softer fabrics to really pull up the dirt locked in the fibers. Our favorite feature is the one-touch debris-emptying system that makes cleanup a breeze. It runs for almost 10 minutes on a full charge and takes less than three hours to juice back up (which is a much faster charging time than most cordless models).
Keyboard crumbs and desktop debris are no match for this tiny-but-mighty portable vacuum cleaner. The ODISTAR Desktop Vacuum features a powerful built-in rechargeable battery with up to 400 minutes of continuous cleaning time after a 2-3-hour charge. (The manufacturer does recommend using it for less than 10 minutes at a time to avoid damage.) The USB cable allows it to charge from just about anywhere, and its small footprint is perfect for storing in a desk drawer or right on your desktop. Its lightweight, simple design is part of its charm and why it made our list. The dustbin is easy to empty, and it even comes with a cleaning brush to help clear the bin if anything gets stuck inside. Since the bin is small, our tester noticed that debris can pop out of the suction hole if it gets too full, so it’s best to empty it frequently and after each cleaning session. We also found that the vacuum works better on smooth surfaces like laptops, keyboards and desktops versus mouse pads and desk mats.
If you're on a tighter budget but still want a vacuum that can handle whole-house cleaning and comes with some nice bonus features like LED lights, we were pleasantly surprised by the performance of this Tineco Pure ONE S11 smart cordless vacuum, which earned the title of "best budget" in our editor-tested cordless vacuum review.
This eufy by Anker stick vacuum is a great option for a budget-friendly Dyson alternative. Our tester compared it to her Dyson stick that's a V7 model for a side-by-side comparison. The eufy's battery life lasts about 40 minutes, the dust bin is on the larger side at .17 gallons and the vacuum is lightweight and relatively easy to maneuver.
Wool dryer balls help keep your clothes soft and reduce static and wrinkles, but unlike most dryer sheets, wool dryer balls made from 100-percent wool do not contain synthetic ingredients or built-in fragrance. The balls also help “fluff” clothes better, meaning they can reduce drying time by up to 25 percent and cut down on the time you have to run your dryer. For small or medium loads, use three balls, and for large loads, use five to six balls at a time. Most wool dryer balls claim to last for at least 1,000 drying cycles, so you can reuse them for at least two to four years.
This isn't like any traditional mop-and-bucket situation you've tried before. The O-Cedar EasyWring features a refillable, machine-washable microfiber pad that effortlessly glides across any floor surface, picking up dirt, dust and grime in its path. A foot pedal-powered bucket system quickly wrings out the dirty mop head so that you never have to touch it. Because microfiber dries faster than cotton, the mop head doesn't leave floors soaking wet. Microfiber also does a better job of picking up and holding anything the vacuum leaves behind, resulting in a deeper clean.
At under $100, this budget-friendly, top-rated air purifier from Levoit is our top overall pick and will meet most consumers' needs for use in a small- to medium-size bedroom, office or living room. This purifier has a three-stage filtration system consisting of a pre-filter, a HEPA filter and a high-efficiency activated carbon filter to capture allergens, pet hair, dander, smoke, mold, odor and large dust particles as well as airborne contaminants as small as .3 microns.
Our favorite splurge-worthy essential oil diffuser from the brand Vitruvi is marked down the lowest we've seen it since reviewing it four years ago. The sleek stone diffuser comes in several stunning colors and makes a great gift, too.
What the ASAKUKI diffuser lacks in appearance, it more than makes up for in performance. The gigantic 500ml tank allows this diffuser to pump out a steady stream of mist nearly all day. There are quite a few performance options, too, ranging from a continuous aromatherapeutic mist with color-changing LED lights to a timed mist without lights. Choose between a 60-minute, 120-minute or 180-minute timer, or let it run continuously until the tank is empty. A gentle or high-powered misting function humidifies the air in tandem with the aromatherapy feature.
If you're wanting to spend less than $40, the Pure Enrichment MistAire Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier is a good option for a basic model. Its 1.5-liter tank will cover most small rooms and runs for 16 hours on continuous mist, meaning it can work well through the night. The tank is easily removable and the humidifier comes with a brush to tackle all the nooks and crannies for a deeper clean. There’s an automatic shut-off feature that ensures it won’t short-circuit once the water runs out. It has an optional night light and a 360-degree nozzle that allows you to point it where you like.
Stasher’s bags feature a patented Pinch-Loc technology and are constructed of durable toxin-free silicone. Since they’re heat-safe up to 400 degrees, dishwasher-safe, microwave-safe and freezer-safe, you can use them for just about anything. They come in several fun colors and five sizes: pocket, snack, sandwich, half-gallon and stand-up.
This handy set of anti-curling pads keeps those corners secure, while also keeping the rug in place on your floor so it doesn't move around. This sticks to any floor securely but is easily removable.
If you love the checkerboard trend as much as we do, it's the perfect time to snag this on-trend cozy throw blanket, available in several colors like this beautiful sage green.
If you're loving the resurgence of toile like we are, these 100-percent cotton pillow covers come in several different colors and are great quality. Paired with these top-rated down-alternative pillow inserts in a size two inches larger than the pillow covers, they make for the perfect choppable throw pillows that will look more expensive than they are.

The K-Elite is a smart upgrade from the favorite K-Classic. We love this model because it comes with all the necessary programmable functions, as well as five brew sizes for coffee, hot cocoa, tea and iced beverages. You can easily make a strong brew when you're looking for something bold, or press the "Iced" button and relax with a refreshing cup of iced coffee in less than a minute. There's even a hot water option so you can quickly make instant noodles, soups and oatmeals. Plus, there's a 75-ounce removable water reservoir that allows you to brew up to eight cups between refills. Talk about efficiency!
The Casper Original Foam mattress is the perfect combination of support and cooling. ZonedSupport has three areas of targeted support for proper spinal alignment. Soft foam around the shoulders provides more relief to the upper body. Firmer foam under the hips, waist and lower back help align your spine. This premium foam is plush yet resilient and conforms to your body to relieve pressure. The durable base foam prevents sinking and sagging and supports the whole body. The eco-friendly cover is made with recycled materials and easily zips off.
Good sheets range anywhere from 200 to 800 thread count, and these ultra-soft 400-thread-count cotton sheets are pure perfection.
Get the plushness of down without the actual feathers with a down alternative pillow. Our tester has been sleeping soundly on the Original Casper Pillow for five years, and even after trying other competitive options, she still preferred this one. Ultimately, Casper Original's easy-cleaning feature and pillow-in-pillow design made it stand out. A breathable percale weave cotton cover allows for better airflow to keep you cool, and the inner polyester microfiber fill offers adaptive support for any sleep position you end up in. Our tester is a side and stomach sleeper and loved how the pillow adjusted to her changing needs, even through two pregnancies. Basically, this pillow offers the personalized comfort of an adjustable fill pillow without the mess of storing excess fluff.
If you're tight on space for guests and tight on space for extra linens storage, an air mattress with built-in pillows is ideal. The elevated bar means you don't need to put out extra pillows but guests still get that stacked pillow feel. This Intex is under $75 and backed by more than 18,000 five-star reviews on Amazon.
It tosses treats; it detects barking; it talks to your pet, and it live-streams your pet's every move. Furbo does everything short of walking your dog which is why we're so obsessed with it.
If we were to rank one DIY unit as best overall, it would be SimpliSafe. It's so good because it's so intuitive. Even if you're not a tech person and you don't have smart accessories in your home, you'll be fine setting up this system. It's not the cheapest, but it's also not the most expensive. For less than $300, you get both entry and motion sensors and there's no contract required.
Basic, straightforward options, reliable connection and a user-friendly app make this Kasa Smart Plug our top pick. It's priced right for tech-curious homeowners who want to dip their toes into the smart home world without going overboard.
