In 2015, we proudly celebrated the 10-year anniversaries of five team members and will be adding another three to our ‘CLUB 10’ in 2016.

Masterpiece Design Group is the true definition of a family business. Coming from two different design career paths, mother-daughter duo Carol Ratliff and Christy Scanlon joined forces in 1999 to form the company that stands today. Carol’s expertise in high-end residential design and Christy’s knowledge of model merchandising made for a compatible fit and form the core of Masterpiece Design Group.

Alongside Chief Executive Officer Adair Ratliff and Vice President of Operations Don Scanlon, Masterpiece Design Group is able to deliver on stunning designs, high customer service and efficient operations. Each of the four partners brings a special element that is an integral part of the company’s success: Carol and Christy infuse their passion for design and customer satisfaction; Adair adds management skill, financial health, and stability; and Don imparts his expertise in operations and logistics.

Since inception, Masterpiece Design Group has served over 60 homebuilders and developers in the Southeast region, including the majority of nationally recognized homebuilders. In addition, Masterpiece has furnished the homes of hundreds of happy homeowners.

While we work hard, we make time to celebrate our accomplishments.

The family at Masterpiece can often be found enjoying moments together with “bring-your-dog-to-work-day,” Halloween pumpkin carving contests, Fiesta Fridays, monthly birthday celebrations, and more.

We also encourage creativity and growth among our team, and are dedicated to mentoring and fostering our new talents, so they eventually become the future of Masterpiece.
