For structural reasons, the designers of this kitchen remodel had to keep this wall that leads into the dining room. To make it more visually interesting and to play off of the homeowners' love for all things industrial, they created custom steel panels and used reclaimed fir for the beam and post.

In this lovely contemporary kitchen, a hallway wall was removed to make the space big enough to fit a large island with a bar sink. Sliding barn-style doors with frosted glass were added to make the transition from room to room more graceful.

This kitchen is dark and outdated, with no sense of cohesive style.

Industrial accents such as a stainless steel range and teardrop pendant lights blend seamlessly with softer elements like the green mosaic tile backsplash and white cabinetry to create a chic effect in this contemporary kitchen.
