Elements of green building found in our landscapes include following the ‘right plant, right place’ mantra, utilizing water-wise plants, edible and medicinal plantings, permeable hardscapes, efficient irrigation systems, rainwater collection and redistribution, groundwater recharge systems, solar access planning, compost tea and other organic fertilizers, etc.
