Ingredients

  • 5 cups apple cider
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
  • 1 large apple, cored and chopped
  • cinnamon sticks for garnish

Yield: 6 cups

Instructions

Pour the apple cider into a large pot and place it over medium-high heat. Add pumpkin puree and whisk until dissolved into the cider. Next, stir in the orange juice and maple syrup and mix until well blended.

Add the ground spices to the mixture, and whisk vigorously so they are well incorporated with the other ingredients. Cook until the cider begins to steam. Reduce the heat to medium.
