Serve a popcorn snack with a kick. Add lemon zest, cayenne pepper and chili powder to popcorn for a sweet and spicy snack.

Ingredients:

5 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
8 to 9 cups freshly popped unsalted popcorn, preferably popped on the stovetop
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup pepitas

Directions:

Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Stir in the sugar until melted, then add the chili powder, lemon zest, salt and cayenne. Add the popcorn, almonds and pepitas, and toss to coat.
