Rustic Elegance in the Kitchen

With the warm, welcoming tones of a sprawling family kitchen, this design invites those who enter to enjoy the almost-contradictory view from the windows of a high-rise. A refined version of a rugged farmhouse kitchen was created through the use of copper, stone and wood. A contemporary backlighted onyx upper bar top overlooks the breakfast area. Rough-hewn beams and a partial tin ceiling all contribute to the texture and overall environment.

An integrated refrigerator has been crafted in the image of an old-time icebox.
