Amazing Outdoor Walls and Fences
Your outdoor space has many functions, whether it's a place to unwind and relax or hold a big gathering. These inspiring outdoor walls and fences will help you make your space a favorite hangout.
This tiny alleyway didn't have much room for a garden. Designer Seth Boor made use of the space off of the bedroom by designing a custom succulent garden wall hanging. The garden wall adds an unexpected touch of greenery in an otherwise urban space.

Stylish Sprinkling System
This wooden sculpture, designed by landscape artist Jamie Durie, functions as both an eye-pleaser and watering system. A misting system installed within the recycled wood beams waters the surrounding vines and epiphytes.
The stucco wall features an outdoor fireplace with Tuscan elements, including a mixture of stone and brick. Designer Scott Cohen placed oversized ceramic vases on each side of the fireplace for a rustic look.
An Italian Vacation
HGTV fan twd33 didn't like the wall in her backyard because it felt like a prison. She worked with what she had by using mortar to transform the wall into an Italian getaway. The rustic look, along with Italian-inspired colors, makes the space feel like you're in a Tuscan villa.
Outdoor dining is taken to a new level with Pamela Berstler's design. The retaining wall gives privacy while still allowing for a perfect ocean view. When guests are done dining, they can relax on the daybed at the lower-level lounge area.
This space wasn't much of a backyard because it's placed between three buildings. Designer Bonnie Bridges updated an unsightly concrete foundation into a playful element by painting it bright orange, which gives the space an inviting feel. The reclaimed wood shelf is topped with potted plants to add greenery to the industrial-style space.
No Problem Here
Sometimes you're faced with unwanted elements in your backyard. Designer Heather Hardcastle transformed this old problem wall into an eye-pleaser with hanging moss baskets and a one-of-a-kind water feature. These simple additions give the backyard an entirely new cottage-style look.
Urban Yet Inviting
HGTV fan PHLpavilion created the perfect balance between urban and inviting in this colorful outdoor space. The dining area, great for entertaining any number of guests, is separated by a colorful plexi-paneled wall.

The white, fenced wall is the backdrop to a custom-made, 6-foot bench with built-in storage. The patio was once an empty space between the master bedroom and garage, but now it's a place to entertain guests or enjoy some outdoor privacy. Design by HGTV fan vr4jen.
The raw cedar salt wall acts as a screen for unappealing trash cans and also supports a steel awning that frames the entry door. Designer Seth Boor designed the screen to create a sense of arrival while maintaining privacy.
Luxurious Curtain Wall
The curtain panels act as a wall in this pool pavilion. HGTV fan arcadiadesign added the curtains to bring luxurious privacy while also protecting against wind without a big wall to make the space feel closed. The daybed makes this spot perfect to read a book and relax.
