Grapefruit Gin and Tonic Recipe for Easy Entertaining

Give your basic gin a tonic a summer makeover with the addition of fresh mint, colorful pink grapefruit and sweet elderflower liqueur.

Ingredients

Yield: 10 servings

  • fresh mint leaves
  • 1 1/2 cups pink grapefruit juice
  • 2 1/2 cups gin
  • 1 1/2 cups elderflower liqueur
  • 4-5 cups tonic water

Muddle Mint

Tear and gently muddle mint leaves to fill bottom of pitcher, leaving a few mint sprigs for garnish.

Juice Grapefruits 

Squeeze and strain grapefruits until you have 1 1/2 cups fresh grapefruit juice. Add to pitcher.

Add Grapefruit Slices

Mix in several grapefruit slices for added color and texture (optional).

Add Gin + Elderflower Liqueur    

Pour gin and elderflower liqueur over grapefruit slices.

Add Tonic Water

Top with tonic water and stir.

Add Ice + Garnish

When ready to serve, fill each glass with ice. Pour over ice and garnish with sliced grapefruit and a sprig of fresh mint.
