Step Into This Restful and Romantic Master Suite

To add timeless elegance, the master suite is covered in shades of lavender and lilac along with classic-style furnishings. A heavy mix of black and silver keeps the pastel tones from being overly feminine.

For a touch of glamour above the bed, a mirror made from antique glass and black coconut shells was hung. In addition to adding dark contrast against the light wall color, the graphic shape of the circle helps ground the space.

To anchor the light lavender walls, black touches were added in the form of paper lampshades, an iron sleigh bed and a coconut shell mirror.

Muted purple tones work well with metallics. For a cool spin on the color, the bed is flanked by a pair of stamped-metal chests. Lavender and lilac can easily take on feminine characteristics depending on what they’re paired with. To keep the colors gender-neutral, it’s smart to mix them with shades of gray and black.
