Hide CaptionShow CaptionThe addition of a custom-made buffet table provides extra surface area and storage without taking up too much space in the room. All About
A multi-step distressing process is used to give the table a worn, aged patina. By adorning the buffet with some of the homeowners' Asian-inspired elements and a few rustic pieces, the room feels less polished and more comfortable. The window treatments help give the room some much-needed volume, while the rug's darker colors ground the space. A great-big table deserves a great-big chandelier. This one really gives the room a fantastic glow and adds a round element to a room that is full of angles and sharp edges.
