The bold, striped fabric served as inspiration for the decor in the foyer – a mix of traditional furnishings and earthy and unexpected accessories.

A seating area just steps from the front entrance features a freeform slab table crafted from a fallen tree. The rustic furnishing is paired with a more formal lattice-style chair. Art books, a classical bust, desk lamps and orchids dress the tabletop.

The natural edge of the table counterbalances the clean lines of the chair and formal tabletop accessories.

To lend a clean coastal feel, orchids were potted in coral-like planters, fashioned from pierced resin.
