Chip and Jo show them a range of fixer uppers each with its own unique style and challenge. Will they choose the 1965 traditional covered in lime green carpeting, the lovely move-in ready with insufficient bedrooms, or the neglected farmhouse with lots of acreage that Devon says should be surrounded by crime tape? The challenges escalate when the Gaines' mini-inspection reveals some unusual damage by an unexpected antagonist adding a 3,000-dollar sting on the Jonklaas' tight budget. Has Mother Nature gotten the upper hand or will the Gaineses be able to tame the beast?

"The Ranch House" is the last house the Meeks visit on their real estate tour. To their relief, this last option actually looks like a real house!

The Gaines have their work cut out for them with these historic wonders that are plagued with old age issues. Will the Purks' fears be realized when they face pricey repairs on their vintage fixer upper?
