Securing a Mortgage

Dianne and Philip Rammon are American violinists who have spent the last 20 years living and working in Germany. They recently decided to return to the United States with their youngest daughter to be close to their two grown children, who now live in the United States. However, being self-employed and having no credit history in the country, the couple is finding it difficult not only to find the right house, but also to secure a mortgage.
