Season 3, Episode 4

Houston Relocation

For the past six years, Carrie and Jeff Hoye have lived in a gorgeous custom home in Palatine, Ill., just 28 miles from downtown Chicago. They recently put their place up for sale because Jeff, a corporate president for a steel distribution company, is being relocated to Houston. The home sold within days of listing it, and with the money they made on it, they hope to find a four-bedroom house in Houston that's just as luxurious and includes architectural details and a great flow. They are targeting the Houston suburb of Royal Oaks, an upscale area close to Jeff's new office. Although it's going to be hard to leave the city and the home they love, the silver lining is that the Houston housing market is less expensive than Chicago. Realtor Bob Burton signs on to help the Hoyes with their search.
