Luxurious Sitting Room

Betsy Flanagan is so discomfited with the lack of style in her living room that she even considered moving just to avoid dealing with it. A mishmash of furniture hand-me-downs and bland colors draw attention away from the potential grandeur already present in the room. Host Karen McAloon and the Design Remix team bring some simple design solutions to the problem and work to create an elegant room, circa 1920s Paris. Projects include a faux-inlay for the floor, Austrian-style valances for the windows and easy fabric panels for doors.
