Spruce Interior Design is a full-service residential interior design firm based in New York City. Susan Galvani, founder & principal designer, creates comfortable, warm, sophisticated interiors that function for and reflect the people who inhabit them. The firm is sensitive to each project’s specific architectural character and setting and values contrasts such as a blend of vintage & modern elements.

Susan holds a degree from the New York School of Interior Design and a Bachelor’s in Art History from Williams College.  Prior to embarking on her career in interior design, she worked at the Whitney Museum of American Art.  She formed her own firm after working for some of New York’s most highly respected designers, including Eric Cohler and Robert Couturier.  In addition to interior design, the firm offers art consulting; staging & styling services.
