The Consulting House is a full service interior design and project management firm specializing in construction, renovations, interior decorating and home organization. Our services include all architectural and design elements related to both the interior and exterior of a home.

Our emphasis is on quality, value and attention to detail while creating innovative, artistic and creative designs that reflect a comfortable sophistication and timeless quality. Janice Dietz founded The Consulting House in January 2001. She is an award winning and published designer with over 25 years of experience in art, design and business. Janice attended Cornell University, College of Architecture. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Business Administration.

Prior to 2001, Janice was a Vice President for a textile manufacturing company, a Senior Manager for Ernst & Young Consulting, and a Director for The Coca Cola Company. She also worked as an architectural specialist for a textile firm. Janice is a patron of the arts and is an avid art collector.

She has expertise in curating and purchasing museum quality art. Janice's involvement in the visual arts community and initial training in architecture inform her creative flair and attention to detail. With both a design and business background, Janice brings her creative skills, problem solving prowess and business acumen to all projects.
